Why is it that fast-food outlets and takeaways will have to be licensed?
The government felt it necessary to include late night takeaways and fast food outlets as they are regularly used by persons who have been drinking earlier on and sometimes there is trouble at these premises. Having them licensed is a way of preventing or reducing crime, disorder or violence or disturbance to local residents.
