Change of circumstances

It is important that you tell us about changes that might affect your Business Rates as soon as you can. If you do not let us know, you might be asked to pay more Business rates than you would otherwise have to.

The main changes we need to know about are:

  • if you change your domestic address, we need to know when you moved and where you moved to 
  • if you change your business address, we need to know when you moved and where you moved to; and
  • if you ceased trading, we need to know when.
