District Committee Area Profiles

Picture of our new District Committee Profiles released in May 2009

Following requests, we have now taken statistics from our popular Ward Profiles and regrouped the information by District Committee Area.  Each document shows individual ward and district committee area data compared against average Liverpool figures.

The data available covers:-

  • Population: current population, gender profile, ethnicity profile, population with limiting long term illness (to view more detailed census information on population, go to Census 2001);
  • Index of Multiple Deprivation: rank of index of multiple deprivation for Liverpool by Super Output Area;
  • Housing: tenure mix of housing stock, Council Tax banding, average property prices, void properties count;
  • Labour Market Indicators: Incapacity Benefit Claimants, Job Seekers Allowance Claimant Count & rates, Worklessness rates, Mean Household Income;
  • Health: Child Obesity Rates; Standard Mortality Rates;
  • Community Safety: All Recorded Crime, Domestic Burglary, Robbery and Vehicle Crime figures;
  • Education: GCSE, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 results.
