We provide a range of data and figures about the city's population and economy; these support the City and our partners' efforts to rebuild the City of Liverpool.

More data will be added as it is available.

  • Indices of Deprivation 2007  
    The 2007 Indices of Deprivation Bulletin contains an analysis of Liverpool's position on the national measure of deprivation.  (NEW VERSION PUBLISHED MAY 2008)

  • Key Statistics Bulletin  
    This document gives figures about local people and our economy.  We compare these with Merseyside, North West & UK figures where we can.  (NEW VERSION PUBLISHED MARCH 2008)

  • Liverpool Economic Briefing  
    The Liverpool Economic Briefing lists some of the key areas on the recovery and growth of the city's economy.  It gives details on Gross Value Added (GVA) output data for Liverpool; and looks at job growth from the 2003 Annual Business Inquiry data (ABI).   (NEW VERSION PUBLISHED MARCH 2008)

  • Neighbourhood Committee Profiles  
    In 2006 we used the data collected in Ward Profiles to produce a series of profiles for figures totalled or averaged across the city's 10 Neighbourhood Committee Areas. 

  • Single Targeting Framework   
    Liverpool Strategic Partnership (LSP) wrote this document between 2002 and 2006.  It monitored how well they met job creation targets set out by the Liverpool Strategic Employment Partnership.  The LSP no longer exists, but this document is archived here as a record of their achievements.

  • Ward Profiles   
    Economic and social data about Liverpool's 30 wards. Each shows ward data compared against average Liverpool figures.  (These documents were updated in October 2007.  The next update will be summer 2008).
