Who needs to register?
Anybody carrying on the business of a hairdresser or barber in Liverpool must register both the persons and premises involved.

How do I register my hairdressing business? 

Limited Companies
In the case of a Limited Company, the full name of the company and the address of its registered office must be entered on the registration form.

Partnerships
In the case of a partnership, the full names and addresses of all the partners must be entered on the registration form.

What if the business changes ownership?
Where the business changes hands, any new proprietor must register the premises in his or her name.

Is there a charge for registration?
There is no charge for registration.

What do I do once I have registered?
You must display a copy of the Registration Certificate on the premises.

How do I apply to register?
The application for registration should be made to the Health and Safety Unit.
