Health and safety requirements
The commercial unit provides information and advice to employers within the Liverpool area on health and safety requirements for their business.
They can also give information and advice to employees on standards in their workplace. This is given free of charge.
If you need help, please telephone, write, or e mail us with your enquiry. We will respond within 7 working days.
If needed, an officer from the unit can also visit your business by prior arrangement to provide health and safety advice.
The unit has many free leaflets giving advice on health and safety topics.
Employers and employees can have copies of these leaflet. Or a health and safety guidance pack tailored to your specific needs can be provided upon request.
A health and safety 'starter pack' either in hard copy or CD is also available free of charge to assist new businesses.
