Knockback Scheme
The Knock Back Pack is a joint initiative by Liverpool and Sefton Trading Standards Services designed to assist the licensed trade in the difficult task of under age sales prevention. Used properly it can be a useful tool for the training and development of staff, reinforce staff responsibility and help towards establishing an effective due diligence system for your business.
Underage drinking has become a problem across our communities, resulting in the increase of anti social behaviour, youth disorder, and recognised long term health problems for our children.
Trading standards services have a duty to enforce the licensing laws relating to the sale of alcohol to under 18s.Our policy is to combine robust enforcement activity with high quality education and training for the licensed trade. This pack incorporates best practice and practical solutions for both on and off licensed premises.
