Community associations
Liverpool has a large network of community associations covering everything from Arts and Culture to Senior Citizens groups. These associations are run by and for local people.
There are local neighbourhood groups interested in supporting and developing the local community generally as well as more specific groups with special interests.
The Liverpool Community Network (LCN) is a service of Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services (LCVS) and aims to support and promote partnership working between Liverpool's voluntary, community and faith sectors and the member organisations of the Liverpool Partnership Group. Visit the Liverpool Community Network website for lots of useful information.
The LCVS website includes the Take it From Here database of local groups and associations which you can search in a number of ways to find groups in your local area.
