Consultation on Community Resources Unit Funding Programme
Liverpool City Council's Community Resources Unit currently provides nearly £4 million a year to voluntary and community sector organisations to deliver local projects for the benefit of local residents.
The Funding Framework is currently being updated for 2011-2014. This includes a number of changes to guide how funds will be invested in the future. The Community Resources Unit would like to consult with anyone who wants to have their say on these proposals. This includes local residents, voluntary and community sector representatives, councillors, council officers and anyone else with an interest in the future of the programme.
GVA Grimley is managing the consultation process on behalf of the City Council. To obtain views from as many people as possible who may be affected by the proposed changes, an online survey has been set up which can be completed by clicking on the following link:

The 'What We Fund' Directory
The 'What We Fund' Directory contains details of all recurrent grants provided through the Community Resources Unit, The Liverpool Integrated Youth and Play Service and Culture Liverpool between 2008 and 2011. We would welcome any feedback about this publication. We will be updating this online version on a regular basis. Signposting Document
The Community Resources Unit have collaborated with LCVS and Merseyside Network for Change to produce the following signposting document for new and emerging community groups who want to get on the networks and find their way round. We would welcome any feedback about its usefulness.
