Race relations

The Race Relations Amendment Act 2000 supports racial equality.

All public groups must ensure they support this act.

Schools that support equality will:

  • Encourage pupils to reach their full potential.
  • Make a positive atmosphere.
  • Create good relations between different ethnic groups.
  • Help pupils to be good citizens.
  • Make use of different skills and points of view.
  • Data from all portfolios is collected every month.

Data from all portfolios is collected every month.

All Schools must report any racist incidents to john.cole@liverpool.gov.uk at the Ethnic Minority and Traveller Achievement Service (EMTAS.)
