Ethnic communities
Liverpool is the 'World in one City.'
This is shown by the number of different communities that live and work in the city.
Over 8000 minority group students attend Liverpool schools. They bring welcome diversity to the classroom.
Our schools include 3000 children who speak English as an additional language (EAL.)

We work with schools, communities and other agencies.
We aim to raise standards of achievement for minority group pupils.
