Christianity

Christians believe in one God, whom they call 'Father' and that this one God is a trinity of three persons in one - God as Father Son and Holy Spirit.  

Christians recognise Jesus as the Son of God who was sent to save mankind from death and sin.  They believe that there is a life after death on earth.


There are many forms of Christianity are practised in the UK, for example, Catholicism, Church of England and Methodist.

Christmas - 25 December.
Lent (40 day period of abstinence) - February to March/April.
Good Friday, Holy Saturday, Easter Sunday - March or April.
Pentecost - 50 days after Easter.
