Voluntary organisations
Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services (LCVS) is a charity, serving the city and its voluntary organisations since 1909. It produces a searchable online directory called Take it From Here, which contains listings of voluntary and statutory providers with contact details and descriptions of each organisation's main activities.
LCVS also provide advice on grants, funding, training opportunities, community accountancy services and many other capacity building resources for the Voluntary, Faith and Community sector.

Local organisations, community groups and clubs
Liverpool City Council is supporting local organisations, community groups and clubs to create and maintain their own information online.
The Liverpool Community Network is a network of networks that enables voluntary, community and faith groups to have a collective voice as part of both individual networks and the larger voluntary sector assembly.
Liverpool Libraries maintains a database of local organisations
Tenantspin is Liverpool's high rise tenants' internet TV channel, produced by the high rise tenants in Liverpool, UK. The aims of the channel is to promote resident participation in regeneration and social housing issues through constructive debate and shared experience
Everything seen on tenantspin has been researched and produced by these tenants, the majority of whom are pensioners and to date the project has produced around 200 live webcasts.
Live webcasts take place in FACT, 88 Wood Street. The audiences are live so if you are in Liverpool, why not pop down and take part.
