Connexions
You can access the Connexions service in a variety of ways.
- You will have a Connexions advisor in your school/college.
- You can go into a Connexions centre which is open to all 13-19 year olds. You can find your nearest centre by looking on the Connexions website.
Connexions personal advisors are linked with training providers and community programmes such as youth clubs and community centres.
Education and training online
If English is not your first language then try the bi-lingual learning zone Lingoland website.
It has lesson plans and study support activities for Somali and Yemeni Arabic children.
You can visit the NorthWest Grid for Learning (NWGL) website for on-line educational content from other local authorities.
