Purpose of the exercise:
This exercise aimed to consult with stakeholders about the content and direction of the city's cultural strategy
Who was consulted and how:
A variety of methods, including one-to-one interviews, questionnaires, workshops and focus groups, will be used to consult with:
- elected members.
- members of the public.
- cultural organisations.
- education providers.
Who were the results of the exercise reported to:
The results of the exercise will be reported to the cultural strategy steering group.
What were the findings of the exercise:
The consultation resulted in the five themes (see list below) around which the cultural strategy will be drafted. The principles behind each theme and key actions to take the themes foward were also formulated during the consultation. A draft cultural strategy has been produced using the findings from this exercise (see info on themes above etc) and this draft will be consulted on.
