Purpose of the exercise:
Various exercises were carried out on the individual schemes that form part of the transportation capital programme

The following were consulted by leaflets, exhibitions, presentations and any other formats depending upongthe nature of the scheme:
- ward councillors
- residents
- Merseytravel
- the emergency services
- other stakeholders as appropriate

Who the results of the exercises were reported to were dependent upon the nature of the scheme being consulted upon.

What were the findings of the exercise:
In general, the proposals were supported by the consultees, however, due to the nature of the projects consulted on objections were raised. These were resolved through the appropriate forums.
What were the changes to the service brought about as a result of the consultation:
Where objections/suggestions to schemes were received they were investigated and, where possible/practicable, incorporated into the final delivered project.
