Purpose of the exercise:
This exercise will ask learners about their experiences of the Adult Learning services in relation to information, access to and quality of the service. The information gained from the exercise will then be used to inform service recruitment and retention, information, access to and the quality of the service.
Who will be consulted and how:
Face-to-face focus groups will used to consult with a sample of service users, including those from the following categories:
- Black and minority ethnic
- the disabled
- those in receipt of benefits
- those under 25 and over 60
- those with mental health issues
The service employs a number of multi-lingual staff and these will be used, along with translators, as appropriate during the consultation period.
Who will the results of the exercise be reported to?
The results will be reported to the assistant executive director for community services, Joe Blott
