Purpose of the exercise:
This consultation assessed customer satisfaction with the admission arrangements for children who transferred from primary school to secondary school in September 2007.

Who was consulted and how:
The parents/carers of children who transferred from primary to secondary schools in September 2007 were consulted via a questionnaire, which was available online.
Who were results of the exercise reported to:
The results will be reported to the Children's Services select committee.
What were the findings of the exercise:
The responses to the consultation were generally positive, with the majority of parent/s guardians stating that they
understood the admissions information that was provided and that they were clear about the admissions procedure and their role in the process.
What are the changes to the service brought about as a result of the consulation:
No changes have been made to the admissions procedure as there was a high level of customer satisfaction with the admissions process.
