Purpose of the exercise:

This exercise sought views about the proposed major rebuilding/renovation work of the sixteen schools in wave 6 of the building schools for the future programme from young people who attend, and staff who work at, those schools.

Who was consulted and how:

Young people, staff and governors from the sixteen schools in wave 6 were consulted via a conference, interactive workshops and focus groups.

Who were the findings of the exercise reported to:

The findings were reported to the building schools for the future project board and young people and staff at the wave 6 schools.

What were the findings of the exercise:

All of the stakeholders were supportive of the proposed transformational changes to the curriculum, teaching, curriculum organisation and school design.
