Liverpool City Council - Consultation exercise

Consultation exercises

Throughout the year Liverpool City Council seeks the views of residents, business owners, visitors and stakeholders on a range of topics (see the annual consultation plan, which is updated monthly).

Use the links on the left to find out more about future, current and closed consultations.  Each page will give you information on the exercise including:

  • why it is being carried out.
  • who we are consulting.
  • contact details.

Health and social care

Local involvement networks (LINks) are being set up across the country to allow local communities to influence the health and social care services provided in their local areas. They will also be one of the methods that the Health service and social care providers will use to consult people about their services.

Visit the our LINks pages to see what's happening in Liverpool.

Planning

You can comment on planning applications via the comments e-form. Information on planning applications is available through planning explorer.

In June 2008 the Government introduced a number of changes to the post 2004 plan-making system.  Councils are now expected to publish 'real-time"' information about the progress they are making with their local development frameworks (LDF) rather than relying on the less frequently updated annual monitoring report (AMR) and local development scheme (LDS).

So if you wish to check where the council has got to with the production of its LDF, please add our LDF progress page to your favourites and visit regularly.

Information on consultations associated with the LDF are available on the council's LDF consultation website.

Highways and transport

Information is also available on streets, including major road schemes (such as the Big Dig), and transport.

You can comment on the local transport plan via the Merseyside transport web site's 'your views' pages.
