Liverpool Senior Citizens Forum

Purpose:

To raise awareness of Older People's Issues by:

. promoting an inclusive view of society, recognising all older people have a contribution to make

. assisting in the development of older people's initiatives in conjunction with other agencies

. ensuring older people are listened to and responded to, by being active participants in the democratic process

. ensuring the group is led by older people, ensuring all older people enjoy a good quality of life

Quality and Inclusion Group (GIG)

Purpose:

Ensure that standards 1 and 2 underpin all other standards within NSF Person Centred Care The Quality and Inclusion Group will be proactive in ensuring that an ongoing dialogue between service users and providers is established and that the views and expectations of older people are central to planning and implementing the requirements of the NSF for Older People
