Statement of Accounts

2008/09

The revised, audited Statement of Accounts for the year 1 April 2008 to 31 March 2009 were considered and approved by the Audit and Accounts Committee of Liverpool City Council on 18 September 2009.  The agenda and minutes of this committee are available for viewing.

2007/08

The revised, audited Statement of Accounts for the year 1 April 2007 to 31 March 2008 were considered and approved by the Audit and Accounts Committee of Liverpool City Council on 30 September 2008.  The agenda and minutes of this committee are available for viewing.

2006/07 

The Audit & Accounts committee considered and approved the final City Council accounts for 2006/07 on the 11th February 2007. The agenda and minutes of this committee are available for viewing.

The Annual Governance Report 2006/07 (PDF [157.9Kb] opens in new window) is the annual report covering the audit of the Authority for the year ended 31st March 2007 and is presented by the District Auditor.

The Annual Audit and Inspection Letter March 2008 (PDF [172Kb] opens in new window) provides an overall summary of the Audit Commission's assessment of the council.

2005/06

The City Council accounts for 2005/06 were audited by its external auditors and were given an unqualified audit opinion on the 28th September 2006.  The documents are split into sections to allow easy access to the information provided.

The City Council accounts for 2004/05 were formally approved by the accounts committee on 18th October 2005 and are available for viewing.

2003/04

The City Council's Accounts for 2003/04 were formally approved (following audit) by the Council on 8 December 2004.
