Liverpool City Council - Performance reporting

Performance reporting

We report on performance indicators, data and/or commentary, either monthly, quarterly or yearly. This information is then used to compile reports for the executive management team, select committees, district committees and executive members

The Audit Commission analyses all best value performance indicator data (and will continue to do so with the new national indicators) and this enables councils to compare their performance with other councils. The analysis provides a relative quartile position for each council e.g. the top 25% of councils, as well as average performance, this enables people to gain a picture of how effective their council is - though such ranking does not take into account the deprivation that besets the city.

We published our out-turns for the 2007/08 national performance indicators (BV and LPSA) as part of our corporate performance plan 2008/11.
