Service inspections
Inspections of services by statutory agencies such as theCommission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI), Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted), the Benefit Fraud Inspectorate and the Audit Commission assess the quality of the services we deliver and help us to identify how they can improve.

Future inspections
A number of inspections will take place during 2006/07 - 2007/08. Including (click on the title of the inspection to get more information):
- corporate assessment (part of the comprehensive performance assessment)
- joint area review of children's services
- a Commission for Racial Equality general formal investigation of regeneration Liverpool has been chosen as one of the case studies
- supporting people re-inspection - this is a follow-up inspection of supporting people services (see the previous inspection's results on the 'service inspection results' page
- youth offending services inspection
