This committee is made up of the eighteen councillors from the eighteen wards (Allerton and Hunts Cross, Belle Vale, Cressington, Mossley Hill, Speke Garston and Woolton) that make up this district committee. They are:

This committee forms the South Liverpool neighbourhood management area and is covered by the South Liverpool neighbourhood agreement.

The 'Your community matters' events for this district

Each ward will hold three 'Your community matters' events during 2008/09 as follows:

  • Allerton and Hunts Cross ward - 7 July 2008, 17 November 2008, 9 March 2009

  • Belle Vale ward - 30 June 2008, 3 November 2008, 9 March 2009

  • Cressington ward - 16 July 2008, 4 November, 11 March 2009

  • Mossley Hill ward - 23 June 2008, 10 November 2008, 11 March 2009

  • Speke-Garston ward - 25 June 2008, 11 November 2008, 13 March 2009

  • Woolton ward - 14 July 2008, 24 November 2008, 13 March 2009

Neighbourhood partnership working groups

Each district has four neighbourhood partnership working groups. Their membership includes councillors, council officers, key partners and community representatives. Each group will meet three times a year as follows:

  • safer, stronger communities - 8 August 2008, 5 December 2008, 3 April 2009

  • economic development and enterprise - 15 August 2008, 12 December 2008, 10 April 2009

  • children and young people - 22 August 2008, 9 January 2009, 17 April 2009

  • health and older people - 29 August 2008, 16 January 2009, 24 April 2009
