Your community matters events
Each council ward will hold three 'Your community matters' each year. These events will be public meetings, arranged and facilitated by the LCVS (Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services), that will allow residents the opportunity to meet with councillors, council officers, the police and other public agencies.
These events will:
-
allow residents to give their views on the issues that matter most to them
-
allow neighbourhood partnership working groups and councillors to give feedback on the progress against the targets in neighbourhood agreements and to outline any future plans and initiatives
-
be a mechanism for councillors' calls to action or petitions
-
allocate small, ward-based funds to support community activities
-
provide an opportunity to consult on key plans and strategies
-
have an optional councillors' question time
These events are informal and allow attendees to have a chance to have their say in a friendly atmosphere. If you want to attend one of these events, contact Stuart Smith at the LCVS either by phone on 0151 236 7728 or via email on stuart.smith@lcvs.org.uk.
View the page for each district committee (see the links on the left) for information on when the 'Your community matters' events will be held in each ward.
