The role of the committee
This committee:
- carries out those functions relating to licensing and registration matters as specified in Part B and functions relating to health and safety at work as specified in Part C of Schedule 1 of the Local Functions and Responsibilities (England) Regulations 2000 (The Functions Regulations)
- discharges the associated powers referred to in Regulations 2(2), 2(3) and 2(4) of the functions regulations in so far as they relate to the functions described above
The terms of reference for this committee do not extend to matters relating to street trading as these are dealt with by the Street Trading committee.
