Regulatory committees
The regulatory committees are appointed by the council and carry out specific functions given to them under delegated powers. These committees carry out functions that cannot be carried out by the executive board.
A number of regulatory committees have been appointed. They are the:
- Licensing and Gambling committee
- Licensing committee
- Planning committee
- Street Trading committee
- Taxi Driver Licensing panel
- Traffic and Highways Representation committee
