This committee is responsible for:
- robustness of financial planning and management
- maintenance of ethical standards and governance arrangements
- the ICT used with the council and by our customers
- the council's human resources issues, including workforce development, health and safety and occupational health
- developing the council's communications and user focus agenda, including the council's corporate equalities strategy and plan
- the functions carried out by Legal Services, Committee Services, the Liverpool Registry Office and the Licensing service
- receiving and monitoring progress on corporate initiatives to improve value for money and improvement plans arising from external inspection reports
- the performance of service partners
