The committee is responsible for:

  • the housing strategy and housing market renewal fund and housing transfers
  • overseeing the programme of fundamental performance reviews
  • overseeing risk management arrangements within the service area
  • monitoring the implementation of earlier agreed service improvement plans monitoring national and local performance indicators
  • reviewing the development of neighbourhood services, encompassing delivery and maintenance of the street scene (including highways maintenance, street lighting and street cleansing) housing management and repairs.
