This committee is responsible for:

ensuring that strategies and delivery plans for regeneration at city-wide and area based partnership level (including city centre), encompassing land use planning, development, inward investment and local employment make Liverpool a first choice for investment and growth

developing an infrastructure which provides opportunity, employment and well-being for our citizens, business and investors
-
working with private, not for profit and public sectors to promote enterprise and attract investment through developing the city's co-ordination and offer across the city region

monitoring the performance of planning functions

ensuring that transport and planning strategies are sustainable and contribute to the quality of infrastructure throughout the city

monitoring assets and acquisitions

receiving and monitoring progress on improvement plans arising from external inspection reports

promoting tourism, the arts and provide opportunities for creative Industries to flourish and develop

developing the Cultural strategy and the legacy from Capital of Culture to ensure that the city's cultural advantage continues to attract visitors, workers and residents

the operation of the Sefton and Liverpool enterprise growth initiative (SLEGI)
