Enterprise and Tourism portfolio
Councillor Gary Miller is the executive member for this portfolio. He has specific political responsibility for promoting enterprise and exploiting the city's cultural advantage to attract and retain investment, visitors, works and residents. This includes responsiblity for (see 'further information' below for the full roles and responsiblities for this portfolio):

providing political leadership that assists the council, and its partners, to deliver its aim 1: to grow the city's economy

drive progress towards the achievements of targets and key milestones set out in the:

Liverpool/Merseyside city region employment and skills strategy.

TMP (the Merseyside Partnership) inward investment and tourism plans.

working with the executive member for Assets and Development to ensure that the council responds to external inspection recommendations.
Councillor Laurence Sidorczuk is the assistant executive member for this portfolio.
