Executive director for community services
The executive director for Community Services is Tony Hunter.
About Tony
Prior to his appointment in 2003 as executive director, Tony previously worked for four local authorities, Barnardo's child care charity and also Price Waterhouse management consultants. Tony has, therefore, had experience in the public, private and voluntary sectors.
Responsibilities
Tony is responsible for managing the following services:
- adult and community education
- adult social care
- community safety
- neighbourhood services
- housing
