Regeneration Development consists of two teams, a Major Projects Team, and a separate the City Centre Projects Team.  They work closely and effectively together with private developers, building productive relationships to ensure the positive progression of a number of major regeneration projects in the city.      

Knowledge of the developments, project management and financial monitoring skills are all used to full effect to ensure projects are well managed on the city's behalf.     

  • City Centre Projects Team 

    Looks after and liaises with principal developers of the larger projects within the City Cente, including Liverpool One (Paradise Street) and Kings Waterfront.

  • Major Projects Team 

    Assists Council officers, partner agencies, and the private sector develop and deliver regeneration projects.  The team advises community agencies and partners on the delivery of physical regeneration initiatives, providing a conduit between those parties and the corporate resource.

    The team also supports liaison between the Strategic Investment Area (SIA) Partnerships, Liverpool Vision, Partner Local Authorities, North West Development Agency (NWDA), and Government Office North West (GONW) in the delivery of physical regeneration initiatives.
