Provision for disabled learners
Liverpool Adult Learning Service is committed to removing the barriers that disabled people experience as 'users' of our service and as employees or potential employees.
As such, we are committed to providing the support and assistance that you may need to access our service.
For example:
- We can adapt materials or resources to suit your needs. This can include providing information in Braille, large print or on tape.
- We are in the process of improving access to many of our Learning Centres. However, currently there are some that are not accessible. You can find details of access provision at all of our centres on our list of centres.

- If you need someone to come into the classroom to assist you e.g. as a reader, interpreter or support worker, we can help you with these arrangements.
In order to assist you we need to know as early as possible if you have any specific requirements. Please contact our helpline on 233 3026 so that we can discuss your requirements and arrange for you to visit our Centres.
You can read a copy of our Disability Statement
which gives further advice to you if you are disabled and want to enrol on any of our courses.
