Welcome to the Liverpool Adult Learning Service (ALS) and Learn in Liverpool web pages.

Please feel free to browse through.  We hope you find what you are looking for and are able to come and join us.  We deliver courses all over Liverpool in a variety of venues including in day and evening centres, Libraries, Children's Centres, Schools and a variety of Community venues, so you should be able to find a centre near you.

What do we do?

We offer hundreds of adult education courses in a wide range of subjects, including: 

  • Arts, Crafts & Catering (from painting, drawing and  beadcraft to cookery and cake decorating)

  • Computing and IT (from total beginners to ECDL Essentials)

  • Counselling & Confidence

  • Direct Learning, Teaching Assistants and Early Years

  • Creative Writing, English and Literature (from basic skills to advanced)

  • Local History and Family History

  • Holistic Therapies

  • Languages (varied)

  • Maths (from basic skills to advanced)

  • Performing Arts & Sports (from Tai Chi, Music to Podcasting)

  • Personal Development (from NLP to Effective Applications)

We also design courses to suit the needs and requirements of individual groups and employers.

There is something for everyone, all you need to do is have fun, unlock your potential and make new friends.
