Education Grants
The Local Authority issues two types of grants:
These are available to:
- parents of school children who may suffer financial hardship
- students in higher education
How do I apply?
Applications must be made in writing.
Awards or loans are made at the discretion of your local education authority.
The size of an award usually depends on a means testing procedure - the money you have coming in will be looked at.
There is an appeal process if you disagree or have any questions about the amount you will receive.
