The central purpose of the plan is to develop the highest educational standards and attainments for all pupils.

To do this we follow these principles:

  • We recognise the importance of a safe, secure and inclusive learning environment.
  • We give a multi-agency partnership approach to the development of provision.
  • We recognise and celebrate both an individual's and cultural diversity.
  • We acknowledge that within the community as a whole, there are particular groups and individuals who are more vulnerable to the risks of social exclusion.
