Activities and Venues
Study Support / Out of schools hours learning (OSHL), take place during lunchtime, weekends and school holidays.
All activities are on a voluntary basis and can include:
- Breakfast clubs with healthy food and games.
- Homework and revision clubs.
- Subject based learning, such as languages, science, geography, reading, healthy eating.
- Interests and hobbies, for example chess, yoga, gardening, ICT, board games.
- Creative and performing arts, such as music, dance, drama, design, arts/crafts.
- Sports & Leisure, for example sailing, football, swimming, wall climbing, cycling, gymnastics.
- Outdoor activities, including adventure holidays and community projects.
- Visits to Museums and Galleries.
- Clubs for ethnic minorities, gifted and talented pupils and those with special needs.
- Peer education and mentoring.
- Themed based summer schools.
Liverpool has lots of different venues and providers that support OSHL.
