Activities and Venues

Study Support / Out of schools hours learning (OSHL), take place during lunchtime, weekends and school holidays.

All activities are on a voluntary basis and can include:

  • Breakfast clubs with healthy food and games.
  • Homework and revision clubs.
  • Subject based learning, such as languages, science, geography, reading, healthy eating.
  • Interests and hobbies, for example chess, yoga, gardening, ICT, board games.
  • Creative and performing arts, such as music, dance, drama, design, arts/crafts.
  • Sports & Leisure, for example sailing, football, swimming, wall climbing, cycling, gymnastics.
  • Outdoor activities, including adventure holidays and community projects.
  • Visits to Museums and Galleries.
  • Clubs for ethnic minorities, gifted and talented pupils and those with special needs.
  • Peer education and mentoring.
  • Themed based summer schools.  

Liverpool has lots of different venues and providers that support OSHL.
