Saturday Morning Music Centre.

The Arts Centre, Myrtle Street, Liverpool 1.

For the more able pupils, the Saturday Morning Music Centre is seen as an extension of the instrumental lessons we provide in schools.

The school is aimed at pupils who can show at audition that they have a basic understanding of music, are committed, and likely to benefit from playing as part of a group.

We have 16 ensembles, ranging from Junior Woodwind through to the Liverpool Youth Orchestra. We also have a Senior and Junior Choir.

Your child should be recommended for an audition by his/her instrument teacher.

The school is open from 9.20am - 12.20pm each Saturday during term time.

There is a charge  of £4.00 per session, paid termly, in advance.

All Fees are waived for pupils who are entitled to free school meals. Pupils who live or attend schools outside the Liverpool area or those pupils who attend non-LA schools are required to pay in full.

Auditions for Saturday Morning Music Centre take place in January and September.
