You can apply to transfer your child from one primary school to another during the academic year. Before you do this, it is important that you discuss your reasons for transferring your child with the head teacher of their present school. Unless you really feel that you have to transfer your child to another school, it is not advisable to move your child during the academic year.
If you still wish to transfer your child the procedure is covered in Section 4 of the booklet.
