Casual Admissions is the term used when children transfer from one secondary school to another secondary school during the academic year. Before you do this, it is important that you discuss the reasons for transferring your child with the head teacher of their present school. Unless your circumstances dictate that you have to transfer your child to another school it is not advisable to move your child during the academic year.
If you wish to transfer your child the procedures are outlined in Section 3 of the booklet.
