Liverpool City Council - school library service

School library service

Liverpool does not have its own school Library Service; however we work in partnership with Knowsley.

Teacher resources are also kept at Liverpool Hope University.

The Excellence in Liverpool Teacher Library has moved to the Sheppard-Worlock Library at Liverpool Hope University.

Liverpool Hope University allows serving teachers to borrow from its collections.

If you wish to join the Sheppard-Worlock Library download the form and send it to:

Membership allows you to borrow up to three items. You can also borrow one kit or artefact box for a week.

Provided that no other member has ordered these items they can be renewed up to three times.

You can check the library catalogue, reserve and renew items online.

You can check your own records online and view items currently have on loan.

You can check due dates and a full history of items previously borrowed.

If you register with an email address, reservations and overdue notices can be sent to you electronically.

All of these processes can be explained and demonstrated at the Enquiry Desk.

If you have any queries regarding this matter please contact the Library Enquiry Desk on 0151 291 2041.
