Liverpool City Council - annual monitoring report

Annual Monitoring Report

Review and monitoring are key parts of the Government's 'plan; monitor and manage' approach to the planning system.

Each year the City Council produces an Annual Monitoring Report (AMR), which covers the period from 1st April to 31st March, and is published in the following December.

The AMR has two main purposes:

  • To review progress with production of the Local Development Framework; and
  • To assess the extent to which policies in Local Development Documents are being implemented and the effects that these policies are having.
