Liverpool City Council - monitoring and information

Evidence, information and monitoring

The Development Plans team in the Planning Department collects and monitors information that is used in the preparation of Local Development Documents and is also used to asses the effectiveness of planning policies.

The team also produces  land availability lists.   These come from a list of possible development sites in Liverpool, which are mostly 'Brownfield' sites and empty buildings.  For a list of sites suited to your needs, you can telephone us on 0151 233 3021, or email us at development.plans@liverpool.gov.uk

An Annual Monitoring Report (AMR) is produced each year. This assesses how the Local Development Framework (LDF) is progressing and the success of the policies contained within it.  It also provides some useful background information about the City of Liverpool.

A list of evidence and information that is used in the LDF is set out below.
