Tree preservation orders
We have powers to protect trees by making Tree Preservation Orders. The issuing of a TPO makes it an offence to cut down, top, lop, uproot, damage or destroy any protected tree(s) without first having planning permission from us.
You can get copies of Tree Preservation orders from Legal Services on 0151 225 2368. The price is £25 each.
