Multi Material Kerbside collection service
What is it?
The council's multi material collection service is carried out by Veolia Environmental Services (formally known as Onyx) on a fortnightly basis.
Veolia use special refuse collection vehicles to collect all your paper, cans, glass, plastic and cardboard. The vehicles that we use look the same as the normal refuse collection vehicles used to empty your purple wheeled bin, but these vehicles are used solely for recycling.
The authority sends all your recycling to a brand new recycling facility known as a MRF that uses hi-tech machinery to separate recyclable materials. This MRF is based in Bidston.Existing customers
