Corporate enforcement promotion group

The brief of the group is to support the Corporate Enforcement Forum by means of an integrated educational and promotions programme to reduce anti-social behaviour, the fear of crime and environmental degradation.

The aim of the group is create significant improvements in joined up working in Enforcement Education and corporate promotions. This in turn would lead to potential monitory saving as crime is reduced and clear up costs are reduced.

In addition this project should help with the following indicators:

  • HMS0009 Improvement in streetscene measures
  • HMS0014 Satisfaction with neighbourhood
  • BV89 Cleanliness standards
  • BV 199(a) Litter
  • BV 199(b) graffiti
  • BV 199(c) fly-posting
  • BV 199(d) fly-tipping

Aims:

  • Identifying City Council Officers and other Partners involved in educational and promotion activities.
  • Set up regular meetings with those Officers and formulate a policy of joined up working in order to improve educational and promotion activity.
  • Share information, knowledge and best practise.    

Desired Outcomes:

  • Deliver a high profile educational, promotions and marketing effort which will promote and publicise the enforcement activities from the corporate enforcement plan
  • Develop performance indicators to monitor performance
  • Report on educational enforcement activity to the Corporate Enforcement Forum
  • Identify potential funding opportunities available for enforcement education
