Driving Enforcement Action
Over 1,000 fixed penalty notices have been issued.
Between April 06 and March 07 we have issued a total 924 fixed penalty notices (FPN).
- 111 FPN for dog fouling including 1 prosecution which brought a £100 fine & £200 costs
- 787 FPN for Littering
- 15 FPN for Trade Waste S34
- 18 FPN for Domestic Rubbish S46 including 4 prosecutions (3 with fines of £150 each and costs of £200, 1 conditional discharge as attended court and pleaded guilty costs £200)
- 6 Fly tipping prosecutions since December.
We aim to make Liverpool a clean and safe city and will not tolerate this type of behaviour which makes everyone's life a misery. A special campaign aimed at dog fouling will be launched in early Summer 2007.
