Environmental awards
The Awards are intended to recognise individuals, groups and businesses that are helping to improve Liverpool's Environment. The Safe Clean Green Annual Awards will be new and, inspiring award that will reward and recognise the value of caring for the environment in which we live and work
A Safe Clean Green Award can be presented at any time of year to recognise environmental contributions
Applications for an award will need to fit into one of 5 categories:
- Community Project
- Young Persons
- Partnership Working
- Environmental Business
- Individual Environmental Champion
Applying for an Award
Liverpool City Council invites nominations of individuals or groups who have made a significant and recognised contribution to the protection and sustainable management of Liverpool's environment.
Individuals, projects and business will be able to nominate themselves for an award.
Individuals and organisations can nominate others (individuals, projects and businesses) for an award.
There is no limit to the amount of awards which can be given if the panel feels that the projects are worthy.
If you have an idea to improve the environment and need help to develop it we can also help. We will put you in touch with experts who can help you develop your ideas.
In some instances funding may be available to help with the development of your project.
